I really don't understand what's wrong with the MC's mind. Is he not a modern person? He didn't even blink an eye at the name Meat. Now, this can be understandable, he might have assumed the bandits named her that. Makes sense. The question is why didn't he change it? I assumed the answer was just that he didn't care. Which cold, but fair enough.

The real headscratcher is him being confused that other people are disgusted with the name Meat. What, is our MC so socially maladjusted he doesn't see the problem with the name Meat?
