There are gamified rules put in by the gods essentially. If it is surrounded by walls, it doesn't count as an active core. He has backup cores buried in the maze currently, but they would have to open a wall before they could castle to it. Likewise, if you did something like lock one behind a door and destroy the key, the door would become fragile and they wouldn't be able to use points to repair it. You could put your core in a wall with no doors, but you would lose access to the dungeon, and have to re-buy the real estate all over again once you opened it up.

@Kampfarsch Hmm, I think you have some sort of misunderstanding about this... It's a real battle. I mean it might seem like a "fun event" between dungeon masters, but in essence it is an actual battle. Aside from the part that all they have to do is "touch" the core instead of destroying it. The older sister stated it didn't she? "If you have the ability to protect my cute little sister".. If you had some random adventurers come stomping their dirty ass feet all in your home would you offer them a cup of coffee and a chair, then when they are finished have arrows pointing the whole way to the core?

Edit: You want to talk about fair.. 100k was put on the line but she has strong ass people that she's acquainted with to help her defend hers. What kind of shit is that.

@Kampfarsch The gameified rules guarantee that it can't be 'too hidden'. In the end, at best it can be equivalent to a really rare obscure collectible in a videogame... without a walk through. Think like needing to find 15 different Koroks in BOTW. While also not having the knowledge that there's Koroks til you find one.

So no, not impossible, just potentially very hard.

Also I don't see what's unfair about a riddle door? She could've used the same kinda thing, anyways. His rats probably wouldn't have been able to answer at all, too. Could've been a great decision. Like it said, the more complex the riddle is (however that's arbitrarily decided) the more it costs too. So he couldn't have actually made a riddle as hard as she thought it was.
