I feel the same. Lots of the conversation in the last couple chapters has happened over the radio, but it's too hard to tell who is saying what, so it's hard to make sense of what's happening.

From what all they said so far, it sounds like the two lackeys are petty criminals who got sidelined in the base while the main guy is some gangster who wants to take over the bunker they were about to head to.

Well, like I said at previous chapters. The ending has a lot of unanswered question. What happened to the boyfriend, to the doctor, to the female zombie?

The novel ending? If thats the case hopefully this manga expands on it given the opportunity. I like staying faithful to the original as much as the next guy but sometimes an adaptation should evolve to reflect the writer's growth or at the very least fixes after hearing reviews and feedback from readers
