Is April 1st done anywhere beyond UK and US? Here in PR I have never seen anyone IRL even mention it.

April fools is quite popular enough for most people to know but not celebrate.
In Bangladesh, India and Pakistan, mostly kids, students and even some adults (especially in the more westerised parts) would try to pull a little prank on someone on that day. Especially online. Sometimes you get fake news which would become controversial due to poor execution.
Iran has Sizdah Be-dar which is basically a "touch grass"-day around the same time that's been a thing for many centuries.

Idk about any other Indonesians, but I personally don't celebrate April fools. I pranked my IRL people almost everyday, what the fuk is that mean we do that only in one specific day?

Anw, the hate since it's not common things IRL actually understandable, but I think can't be a solid argument since its had a weak point. Let say, they should hate isekai or fantasy too since it wasn't common thing IRL. LOTR or Harry Potter? That's fiction too that's not happen IRL so that's why I think hating just because it's not common thing in your IRL is weird even understandable.

@athayanezant Oh, by that logic too, American should be hating "ojii-san or obaa-san" since I heard that it's common among them for calling their unc/auntie with their names.

*I think there's Americans whose still using "uncle/auntie" as honorific so I'll apologize if there's something wrong on my opinion.

Yeah, there is a difference between a proper harem setup and having the harem-setup be a disturbance to the actual romance.
Though I guess it kinda applies to a lot of genres being used to force conflict.
Authors do need to realize that, while similar, both mono romance and harem romance are different and should be approached differently.

I just finished watching the entire K-project anime.

This song is kinda amazing. K project soundtrack is amazing.

Now why the FUCK did they gate anime lore behind light novels? Cause why tf are backstories gated behind those? Some of which haven't been adapted back into movies or manga. K is anime original, having to go find LNs for character backstories is annoying.

Not all of the LNs got adapted so I have to go scour shit tumblr translations, or worst case find a Russian translation of an English translation on AO3 and translate back to English.

Wait, K project not an og anime? It's from LN? I need to do some research.

*I came for conclusion, IT IS NOT FROM LN BUT SPREAD THROUGH ALL THE MEDIA. I'll never move on if I think about other media I can't get. Time to rewatch.

You're right. K is anime-original.

The K:SEVEN STORIES movies(except for the last one) are based off LNs. There are manga adaptations of the light novels and the series as well. Some of the novels were written after S1. Some light novels contain backstories of the characters and shit and take place before k. And I think some novels were written after S2.

This is why I wrote adapted back.
