I mean you guys don't understand but he's a high schooler who's clearly very (for lack of a better word) beta. Not surprised he acts like this I'm just surprised this girl wants him even after rejecting him.

This series treats the theme of a partner with previous sexual experience far better than that crap manga about the fiance girl that slept with almost 100 guys.

That one was so ridiculous and so extreme that it made the girl outright a sex crazed nymphomaniac.

This manga here is far better written and thought out, with more nuance to their relationship.

Just don't read the reviews for the novel, its scary how many incelly comments there are for that it's cray cray.

Yeah it's a much more realistic approuch to teens and how they do all this, we have a herbivore MC but he's also not a wet blanket and actually does stuff and ofcourse we have a FMC that is finally for once learning what it means to have actual feelings for a guy and not try to grow into her feelings.

The urge to play Captain Save-a-Ho is always strong in MCs like Ryuuto.

"Beta" probably applies, but I am almost inclined to call him effeminate. Herbivory--at least as exhibited by JP male MCs--almost always entails such a state, but this MC isn't completely so. Credit must be given where credit is due: when faced with a pushy, vicious female making eyes at him, he still managed to remember Shirakawa--in fact, he consistently remembers her.

Problem is, as others said, Ryuuto still treated the other girl (What's her name again?) gently--despite all that she did--because he felt sorry for her. That is more feminine than masculine: the proper response would be to tell her to make like a banana, since he's in a committed relationship (What are you doing giving your comm info to another girl, anyway?), and especially since tigers don't change their stripes that easily. Might suck (for her) that she's lonesome, but she reaps what she sows; can't save everyone from their stupidity--and stupid people usually don't abandon their stupidity with ease.

He's more of a man than most MCs, but he's still quite naïve. That girl was fixating on him and pressing him to give her her way--it's pretty obvious. That said, I don't think that girl even likes him--this is all likely still happening out of rivalry with Shirakawa; that girl already rejected him, and her biggest issue from start to present is Shirakawa--the MC himself is an afterthought.

I see.

Idk if I'd call him manly than other herbivore MCs. That bar is pretty low to begin with. But I understand your point.

Well here there are massive differences vs  that series.

From one she's much purer than the other girl.

She didn't have a ridiculous amount of partners

And she's having a lot of firsts with the MC in actual relationship things.
