My brother got fired from his job some years ago for quite literally being too efficient at it, to the point that the company deemed him as "Too difficult to work with" because other people in similar positions couldn't keep up with him.

I hate how a woman's accomplishments get resented if she isn't 'lovely'/'loveable' enough, but if she is soft and pleasing no one takes her seriously. A man who un-deserted the country would probably be given a noble title and lands of his own by now. I hope MC stays the same when she goes to the neighbouring country and people just like her for who she is.

It's even more of a problem if they're socially awkward/inexperienced. You practically need skills for customer service everywhere these days just so you're able to get along with your employees. What about the jobs where those kinds of skills aren't required? Just let them work to meet the quotas you set for them, don't expect them to be your best friend or whatever.
