I don't even see crossdressing in Hanku's punk looks. Punk style can be quite gender neutral, which makes perfect sense because punk was born when gender roles (and looks) were still far more prominent than today. Since it's counter-culture, it would obviously also fight against traditional gender roles.

I have obviously read more manga than you have, not that it'd be anything to be proud of, and like to write all kinds of theories in the comments. Much of the time I'm wrong, I'll be the first to admit it, but that won't stop me from writing such theories. Isn't that the point of this comment section anyway, aside from thanking the translators?
