Email support@mangadex.org and ask for your username to be changed.

It's deliberately not added as an option on the website because it will inevitably be abused by spammers, and we currently average less than one username change a day - it's not in particularly high demand.

Just add 1 week/month cooldown period. Problem solved. Also may add public "Name change history" in profile.

I assume it’s only to this forum, and I changed my username in v5 before the forum

Due to username change still being a manual process for the developers to do every time and the large amount of Username change requests, It is paused at the moment until a better solution is made available to the users to change it themselves.

They'll likely make an announcement concurrent with whatever update allows for that.
