And all that stuff doesn't excuse his lack of pushing her away throughout. Also the guards saying "don't blame us for exposing the girl that's been harassing you for months" is laughable the author is a dumb ass.

All he needed to do was make a simple story he could even keep the elements of them struggling with a long distance relationship just cut out this unneeded new love story and most people would have been happy

What a punchable face this guy has in the early pages of this chapter... so he's single-handedly solved the new girl's conflict (which I didn't really care much about, and given how he fends her off I don't get why he cares so much either)... which is hardly relevant in the grand scheme of things.

I've yet to see anything from Masamune to make it up to Aki or redeem himself. I see this has one chapter left... so this manga/arc has exactly one chapter left to repair the damage it has done to his character. Given how poorly written this has seemed to me 10 chapters in, I don't think this can stick a landing in one chapter, but we'll see.

So... What did that sob story of an excuse of her (Iroha) behavior from the past chapters of this vol actually justified?
She needed a husband and for that purpose, conducted a test of luck. If it's not obvious enough, something as abstract as luck is immeasurable so the plan was a doomed from the get go. This probably makes sense to the otakus though. Anyways, through some inane process of elimination she ultimately selects a guy and kisses him on the spot without his consent... Later discovering that he has a girlfriend. Even then she keeps pursuing the him despite his repeated signals of disinterest. Given the situation, a normal person with even a bit of brain them would be like 'If my only purpose is to get a husband why go through all this trouble of trying to snatch someone else's boyfriend?' But that clearly isn't what happens. Like b***h you clearly had no problem kissing some random guy you just met, then what's the problem with just finding ANY guy with a good face? As far as I can see you are just a reckless b***h!
Well, then there is the forcefully grabbing and getting awfully close to his face and all.
And yeah that's about all I can recall off the top of my head.
In conclusion, that the sob story excused none of it.
Don't get me wrong, even though I only talked about Iroha here I hate that Mf Masamune even more but no need to point out the obvious is there?
