Yep, that's why Azz and Clara are definitely a better pairing than Iruma and her. They need Iruma to have brought them together and probably to keep them there, sure, but Iruma's too much of an enabler for someone as whim driven as Clara.

lmao
I actually think this is good, Iruma was trying to reassure her, seeing her worries, but Asmodeus is beating her down to earth and doing the opposite, Clara needs to know about consequences I agree, but also think a good thing is that Asmodeus called her by her name here, he didn't call her "idiot-Clara" like he usually does or anything else, he called her Clara and then called her an absolute moron, separately, I like that. Iruma's heart was in the right place but his approach although noble was too soft, he is our precious gold hearted boy after all, he tried to calm down Clara's insecurities, but really Clara's current actions needed to be told off, Clara's dark fantasy of keeping them being broken by the repercussion of it downing on her. Excited for next chapter, to see Clara's full reaction, I am sure it will be comedic.

As much as I like this manga and following in a long time, I feel like we are stuck in sidequests and forgetting about the main objectives. There is a reason why many people (inc. me) like the IF Mafia spin-off more than the original. I want to reach to the point where the other characters find out Iruma is a human, what actually happened to Delkira and what was that whole Gods stuff in the earlier chapters. I know we can't get all of them quickly, but the pacing could be way better managed. There is a huge potential in this manga if don't spend so much unnecessary time with less important things.

Honestly, I’m sort of the reverse. Right now the manga feels like My Hero Academia if they actually fucking focused on the academia. Ochaco didn’t get even a fraction of the character development Clara’s going through now.

That said, I do feel you. Maybe this whole arc will spur Iruma into revealing the secret to his friends. Next week IS the series’ eighth anniversary, after all…
