For better or for worse, the WN doesn't have any romance tags associated with it. So it seems to just be an author with a poor sense of humor.Praying so hard that the author won't pull an usagi drop on this, the constant misunderstanding does not help this![]()
Nina has SS+ rank in cuteness and charm, you can't go against herObviously Emilia has completely fallen for Nina. Not even an S+ rank adventurer can avoid that.

I don't think Emilia was thinking in that direction at all, assuming by what you mean by "sleep with". She was more so pondering that Ariamel (a girl that Emilia is somewhat conscious about in regards to Grey) sleeps together on the same bed as Grey. Why would anyone who knows Gray and the kids to not treat "sleep with" as literally just sleep with?
I mean, we've already seen that Ariamel has some attachments to Grey, so we kind of already know she has feelings for him, though it's also not uncommon for someone that has gone through as much as her. The most important thing is that Grey doesn't reciprocate in any way that goes past "overprotective/doting father." It's kind of like how the trope of characters crushing on their teacher isn't inherently bad, since it happens in real life often enough, so long as the teacher makes it clear they aren't going to reciprocate (with some small exceptions for teachers that only reciprocate after the student graduates, though it has to be handled just right, and even then...)From what I read from some spoilers it seems Ariamel does form a small crush on her adoptive Father but i'm not sure if he's aware of it.
Kind of reminds me of how most of them took a while to get used to sleeping on their own. Not only is it better for making the most of available space and keeping warm on cold nights, there's more safety in the whole family sleeping together, rather than being spread out and more easily picked off.Keep in mind that in the past it was pretty normal for families to sleep in one big bed. And back in the hut, the kids all slept together, so "sleeping together" was absolutely normal.
It just takes one bad ending to ruin a perfectly good story, it really is quite tragic how that serie got ruined the way it did.God dont remind me of that travesty
