Not sure why it's so popular to put stuff like this in stories. In reality, nobles couldn't really do anything remotely like this. For various reasons. The most obvious of which would be that his own people would kill him. Ignorants defending this annoying trope would try to use a "right of the first night" thing to try to hand-wave it, showing that they know nothing about it and trying to abuse other peoples' ignorance to get others to agree with them. It didn't work that way, nor was it popular. If anything, it's an example of how it isn't feasible.

Unsurprisingly, your guards and soldiers aren't all that keen to help you kidnap and rape women. Especially since those same guards and soldiers are always drawn from the very people whose families you're preying on.
