To answer that question somewhat seriously, sometimes yes it is. I never felt bad for Wile E. Coyote, and I laughed hard at Man Getting Hit By Football. A decent portion of comedy is "Rude Rube does something awful to Nice Unwitting friend, audience laugh." Think of how many sitcoms have a straight man suffering under the antics of the wacky foil.

So why does it feel so bad, here? Pathos, for one. We've spent a lot of time with the MC and he's very agreeable- it stinks to see him get abused for no reason. His sisters are also super annoying. We haven't spent any time getting to know them, then come in like hot garbage. They're not being unwitting or clumsy, they're just jerks. I have too much empathy for the MC to spare any sympathy for his sisters.

i'm more frustrated that the bitches are gonna keep doing it consequence free, so far whatever selfish shit they do they suffer not one fucking consequence (expect for the mc ofc) i just hope mc will snap and fucking finally discipline those bitch or at least ANYONE will do it!

I've never understood the weird overly violent family member thing? Especially when the author tries to make it just a "Haha siblings being siblings" theres a way to do it properly and this absolutely is not it.

I would mostly say it's about karma. Someone on the negative side of karma getting hit, like the sisters: funny. Someone on the positive side, like MC: not funny. This is relative to each other.

And it's also funny (sometimes) if it doesn't hurt so much it sucks the fun out of it.

Sounds very much like you are the one who can't fathom readers getting angry for any other reason than them being brother and sisters and not confirming to the fantasy you alone are thinking about.
