Whoever Clover is, they are so Toxic. Encouraging her to ruin her life because if her parents truly stopped caring, she would have nothing and be homeless, her "Comfy carefree life" is all due in part because of her parents.


She needs to learn the value of hard work but also needs a friend to show her what she can gain and what she can lose. This Story is so interesting, not just the main FMC trying to save her MC but the MC's family and the side characters adding to this interesting mystery and arc of rebuilding what was broken.

I'm going to make a prediction. Clover is Uichi from a different timeline where Yotsuha was the one who died and he's torturing his past self because the only way to gain the power to travel back in time to save her is to fall into complete despair, which is what happened to current Yotsuha after finding out her Uichi committed suicide.

Could be wrong, but would explain the connection with the four leaf clover.

Ooooh. THAT'S why Uichi's mom is the way she is, and why he's trying to hard to be perfect and not talking to anyone about anything. That's a good touch!

That there's another clover who's just as obsessed over Uichi as Yotsuha is, but in the opposite direction, is... interesting. It's really interesting, because I have a hard time figuring out why they'd even want to do this.
