On page 23 we can see all the misfits from the abnormal class: at the top we have Jazz; Lied who listens to Kuromu aka Keroli's music and being present an icon with her; in the middle we have Ix Elisabeta and Cain Kamui; and at the bottom we have Gaarp; Agares; Purson Soi; Allocer Schneider and Sabnock Sabro who we know from the information about characters like Azz kun when he worked in the police sometimes had Sabnock Sabro as his work partner.


And Ameri and Clara compete against each other for the love they have for Iruma with the main goal of conquering him in one way or another only that on page 24 Ameri or Clara instead of ending up in Iruma's arms, unfortunately Ameri and Clara ended up in each other's arms.


And what Iruma bought is called a buttonhole or a tie pin.

Assuming all the cameos on page 23 are of Misfits, there are nine of them. Adding in

I see Shax Lied, Kurome (singer), Jazz, Elizabetta, Kamui, Agares, Gaap, Sabro (oh hey, he's an officer like Alice too), Allocer, and I'm guessing he one with hoodie and guitars in the background is Purson Soi?

I totally missed Kurome on the CDs. That accounts for all our Misfits, then, assuming the mystery figure is Purson. His face looked a bit bizarre at first, like he was wearing a mask with a cross shape on it, but I think the vertical is the shadows from his nose, and the horizontal is his hairline.

That being said, while Ameri was sexy. Clara s outfit gave me a much different vibe. I wouldn’t call it cute or sexy. It felt too mature to be cute and too childish to be considered sexy. It was somewhere in the middle. I don’t know the word I’m looking for to describe it.

It certainly makes sense. The beauty of an AU spinoff is that the characters are already established. We know who they are and what their connections are, at least generally so they don’t need to spend time establishing it. Plus, I doubt we’re gonna get as many chapters of this as the main series even if I think this is the better series.

DID Y'ALL SEE PAGE 23 ALMOST ALL 13 WERE THERE!!! We could see Jazz, Allocer, Agares, Goemon, Ix, owl guy (forgot his name) and Lied. I wonder if they're going to appear on this manga at all?? I mean, Jazz is a thief so it's possible, Allocer is a genius so him too and Goemon has some samurai skills, so I think these 3 might appear, but idk about the rest. Also, Clara and Ameri!?! THE SHIP HAS DEFINITELY SAILED NOW CHOO CHOO BITCHES 🚂🚂

With it being monthly there’s no shot we will get as many chapters as the main story but that’s fine as long as this story continues with these satisfying chapters and ends nicely.
100 would be nice by that would be 80 more months which Im not so sure because that’s a long time but considering how much lore this world has to offer, anything less than 50 would be a waste, 75 may be the sweet point.

My initial reaction was that that was way too many chapters, but then I just checked and realized we were already 20 in and the story is basically just getting started. So I think at least 50 goes without saying. I kind of doubt we’re at the halfway point. Though that being said, I am curious about where we’re gonna go from here since this chapter basically introduced the entire misfit class. That could be a set up to include a lot of them moving forward, or just an Easter egg to let us know that they are in this world, but aren’t relevance. If it’s the latter, I’m not sure who else they could really add as characters. Curious

the rest of the misfits make small cameos, unfortunate that they aren't involved with mafia!AU but seeing them devi!off is cool. pg23: lied and jazz are in the music store with kerori's CD being used as a projectile. elizabeth and caim are at a clothes store. purson in a guitar store. agares and gaap in a mattress store. sabbanock as a security guard, and allocer at a book store! these designs reminds me of the human!AU featured in the main series
(psst! also iruma-chi in the last page looks so small a cute. and i love ameri and clara with this girls date out, I wonder if there is an occasion in this series to crossdress to bring it full circle. getting blasted by cool and cute is not fair, eiko should be in the background camera at ready!)
