Well, I don't think the producers of a TV series would be interested in teaching how to effectively dissolve a human body to millions of viewers.
But they were interested in at least being a little bit accurate, which is why THEY cooperated in that Mythbusters episode.
So it's Breaking Bad's word vs Mythbusters' word?

Basically you have to pick which bald dude with a goatee and a funny hat you want to trust.
No, because Jesse was there with the Mythbusters.
So it's Mythbuster's walrus + Jesse vs Waltuh.

For the record, HF does not dissolve human flesh.

That urban legend comes from somebody googling 'most dangerous acid' and getting HF, and assuming that meant it was the strongest acid in the world.

It's not. What it is is a powerful contact poison. If you spill HF on yourself, the Fluoride ions will penetrate through your skin and start a catalytic reaction with the Potassium that your nerves use to communicate with each other. A small cup of HF is enough to use up enough of the potassium so that the nerves in your heart can't communicate with each other, killing you from a heart attack.

Once you spill it on you, it will take about 30-60 minutes to kill you, and even with immediate treatment, chances are you will still die.

That's well past the boiling point of water, you're not going to be able to get there without specialized equipment that can pressurize the whole contents. Assuming you could, it would take a few hours. The resulting gunk is actually possible to pour down the drain, after about double the initial time of heating and cooling it.
It's not pure water, it's a 20% NaOH solution. That should have a boiling point of ~135ºC, increase the concentration a little bit and you can keep the mixture going at 150ºC.
Anyway, we are all in a list already so: It's easier, faster and safer if you cut them up before processing with lye, the smaller you cut, the faster it goes.
Also, I don't know if the solution would get rid of bones, so just place them in a kiln of sorts, grind them and get rid of the dust.

No, eldritch X, we don't really like it too much. That's why we have all these religions promising that there is more.
I love eldritch beings that bother to look at us, let alone attempt understanding. The ultimate complement where something closer to the laws of physics notices humans.
Nyarlathotep stans humans. The universe cares.
I get the sentiment, but I would not describe Nyarly's relationship to humans as anywhere close to "stan", personally. At least not in the original mythos.

Lovecraft's point was that it sucks how the universe is utterly indifferent to us, but we also shouldn't forget it would also suck if it did take notice. Cheery fellow, Lovecraft.
Easiest way to get rid of a body is to just eat it.
Bones and all? Where are they gonna get a bunch of hogs in the big city?
this kind of thing is a "green" cremation-like method funeral homes sometimes offer.
And here I was thinking the green thing to do was toss the body naked in the ground and plant a tree over the grave.

Not in general, most would fuse together into bigger chunks. The standard way is indeed to grind that up. That's what funeral homes that use this procedure do, anyway.

That's also on offer in some places. Well, not naked per say, but in a bio-degradable coffin and wrappings. Costly stuff though, if you really want eco "let nature take it's course" without breaking the bank, then look up how ancient mountain-dwelling cultures did it, the term is "sky burial". Probabbly illegal in most places nowadays though...
