Might be unpopular opinion, but this manga actually depicts the "tsundere" really well. It's realistic, feels annoying. Frustrating even. It's not just a funny girl that can't express her feelings while the dense MC plays his plot-milking role

Not really, it's a possessive trait that's not uncommon IRL. People that "love" someone else enough will treat them like garbage and convince them that they're the only person that will ever be there for them to keep them on a leash and loyal under their thumb. It's about curating that "She's all I've got" mentality.
Of course it's exaggerated a bit since it's a manga, but Kazuma here is one of the few who wisened up to the abuse and is trying to cut ties with her.

Very nice series.
The premise is also quite similar to the other abusive girlfriend series. This one seems to be more light hearted and comedic while that other one is more down to earth.
While I hated the bitch from the other series, I don't hate Rui that much, I see Rui as more of a classic tsundere

This series also seems "vanilla" but then the MC is like a trained shadow guard / fiancee for the girl he was with since childhood who just did instant transmission behind a guy, and the girl was basically never taught a single normal thing in her entire life as opposed to just "tsundere/ignorant ojousama".

I'm half expecting the other girl to get pure to a fault, but she seemed like a normal human-level character.
