Nah, not only are they dating, they literally broke through fucking time loops so they could hook up. She can try to ntr, but she'll fail, and that'll fun to see if she does try cause you usually don't see a rival pop up this late. Makes me wonder how it'd work

A few chapters ago I honestly thought this story was coming to a close soon, but it looks like that was way off.

Honestly I feel like "now we're in a magic academy" is a generic choice, having been done by a zillion isekai extending things out, but since they've already accomplished a lot plot-wise, that should avoid a lot of the pitfalls.

I do kinda wonder what happened to the premise of the villain system, though. It just kinda stopped being a thing at some point, but without a good reason that I can remember. (Although, characters constantly show up with people saying "so and so is back!" and I'm like...who? Because they probably last appeared like two years ago. So maybe I just forgot why the system hasn't been seen in a while.)
