I tend to forget that in Japan someone leaving a job after they complete college is a bad thing culturally. It's always bizarre to see that sort of stuff.
Oh, now I understand what you were saying. No, it's not "you left your job u deadbeat" it's that he left under specifically pecular circumstances. We also get a hint about what the report contains, since we know Amane read it: at the very least, not enough for her to understand why he left.
The report may have glossed over the whole blow up, or left enough out for Amane to just not understand why he'd want to leave. Another interesting thing here is that Amane asks about Fumi ABANDONING Ayano: something that he actually did do to the actress he knew/they both had a thing, but he didn't actually understand that he did. He didn't mean to, he just sort of let things happen to him; but in doing that, he forced others to take action alone.
I wonder if he'll begin to realize that.
