Agree. It’s just so intense. I think this story works really well as a tragedy or a horror story. A complex amalgamation of human emotion. The author isn’t an airhead and the themes of love, family, and obligation are seen in just how hard Arata tries to chill out from all the stimulation.

But we were literally shown a glimpse of the future, where he was sending a message to his sisters, and that he was married to one girl and had a daughter.

The scene seems to imply only one winner will be chosen but they will still have a strong bond as siblings.
