Expulsions become less common by the middle of the first year since people already have enough points to take in losses and the only ones remaining are hardcore fighters.

The types that looks at Weiss and do not go "omoshiroi" but instead want to crush him for being the top student. Heck even Weiss notes the "mobs" remain tricky to fight since they are constantly getting stronger.

In fact during Weiss 2nd year there were only a total of 5 explusions so far.

My fucking favorite trope from shitty stories: the world is a dark place, and you shouldn’t show excessive kindness or you’ll be crushed... but this never applies to the MC or heroines. If it’s about them, anyone who doesn’t show absolute kindness is instantly evil. I hate this edgy shit so much.

The entire premise has flipped on its head, with the MC feeling it's fine to give in to his "intended" personality but now the story's been completely shuffled from what he knows.

You can't expect the plot/premise to remain the same, if you keep changing the core plots like "Cynthia Hatred" or "Defeat of Weiss & his Expulsion", just because MC wanted to avoid his/Weiss's bad end.

If MC wanted really to stay inline and not change the scenario while trying to stay alive as Weiss, then he shouldn't have asked Cynthia forgiveness for his past action towards her (because Weiss would have never done that), nor defeated the Protagonist in the Academy Entrence exam.

Instead he should have done everything as per the plot, and only change the scenario after getting expelled and disowned, to avoid his bad end while not affecting the overall scenario.
All he had to do is not getting exploited by Demons post losing everything and live a normal life far away, that way he would have survived easily.

it's isekai "Trash" manga. With reincarnating as A Villain plotline. i don't really know what levels of Quality ya want from it... the original with this Plot was the Piggy Duke? After it's just copy-paste to fill paper and Quotas.

I'm sure it produces some biggity badasses with this selection process, but are they actually going to be functional members of society? Or will they just be absolute battle-hungry psychos being put in positions of power?
For that matter, is 1 elite graduate supposed to be worth more than the like 60 hypothetical well-trained expellees you lose to get them there? It's one thing if you're just separating the chaff from the wheat to get the best of the best in their own class, but so far I'm not seeing a particular need to be stingy with resources either.

The pot-au-feu seems good though.

Don't like how the MC decided to bend himself to the mental corruption instead of fighting it, I udnerstand that the scenario got messed up, but it was just him being unable to control himsdelf once and that making the game hero become a bit ruthless too that made a named NP Cget expelled, it was still possible to contain it.
The only good point I can see in this is that it broke out the mold of this type of story, but I don't like a protagonist that bends themselves to the rules of the world, he knows he is getting corrupted and instea dof fighting it he let down his resistance.
The original owner was a villainous bastard that was stopped in the game only for being weak, and don't forget, attempted rape, I would never let him guide me.
