So when it's over there should still be something to look forward to, just have to hope a translator picks it up. By the way, this manga chapter ends where the WN chapter '今回はいつもと違い……' begins (it's under the '9th night' (九泊目) heading).

I think you might be mistaken, the final chapter under "tenth night" is the announcement that the web novel is complete.

PS: Reading through the webnovel,

-it appears that the WN and the manga have different endings.
-the author acknowledges it wasn't axed, it just ended.
