Free things still have copyright you know? I think it's perfectly reasonable to think that translations of free things should be instant fair-use, but that is not our system at this time.

Yes OPM is free on his website, but I can relate as a fellow webcomic artist and this might sound hypocritical... but I don't want my stuff getting posted anywhere else that I didn't post to myself nor I gave permission to.
