I'm really starting to like alien bro
I still don't really understand the direction this story is going in. Is it a racism allegory?
Or that other time.Kind of like what happened to Japan, that one time.
I get that. My point is its hard for me to care about him. Its not that he is "irrational", it's that everyone is or profoundly stupid. Before the complainers arrive I'd like to remind them that all his "irrational" actions are consistent with the belief that the people he cares about are worth more than the lives of many
It looks more annoyed to me. No determination just boredom. I'm just happy it isnt another cliffhanger like the last ones have been. After re-reading this chapter I can pinpoint with more accuracy what was so confusing to me... what the fuck do I care namamoto is entering the building? She's literally a dog. She has no agency to get involved in this other than eating the alien corpses that are lying around the stage.
Like what's up with her face in the last panel? She doesn't know what's going on and all she's doesn't care about anything but food, so why the hell does she look determined? Its like the narration tells me "oh watch it namamoto is coming in and she looks pissed!" while the author has spent several chapters to assesinate her character's iq and personality.
If she was coming in saying something like "uhh I was so hungry I couldn't wait" I'd be like okay, that makes sense. Her looking like a gangster just seems out of character by now.
It's still bad writingBefore the complainers arrive I'd like to remind them that all his "irrational" actions are consistent with the belief that the people he cares about are worth more than the lives of many
Consistency is not the problem with this series. All characters have been quite consistent, the problem is that the storytelling is ass. Before the complainers arrive I'd like to remind them that all his "irrational" actions are consistent with the belief that the people he cares about are worth more than the lives of many
I think the author decided to change the MC, because at the moment the character is almost not developed compared to Kitami. After re-reading this chapter I can pinpoint with more accuracy what was so confusing to me... what the fuck do I care namamoto is entering the building? She's literally a dog. She has no agency to get involved in this other than eating the alien corpses that are lying around the stage.
