What an absolute fool. You can't calculate the focal distance of an ellipse using simple plane mathematics when your superficial geometry involves a third axis and compound angles are required to determine symmetry in 3-dimensional space in the first place. Having run the numbers and factored in the appropriate variables, I've come to the conclusion that those are HH-cups and not J's!
