From the thumbnail of chapter 64 it's safe to say that the president is getting fucked
President makes a move on our boy, but he stopped it before it went too far.

MC managed to get 100 in the practice exams and him, the president, and Inuaki are planning to go to the beach together.

He find some spine so and stop (out of guilt too, it seem). Impressive, after the major fuck up in 63.

It is really good to See the change in Gotou in this chapter. I had a gut feeling a few weeks before that he will reject her and now it happened. Also it could be that we will see the prez not much anymore after this arc.

Imo Akito or Agawa could join their trip to the sea. The possibilities for Akito are high but I also see a small percentages that Agawa will also be there. Let’s wait and see how much more our MC has developed and how he will behave towards Agawa and Akito.

yeah, how he act in 64 show that he can use his brain and reason instead of his dick. Now, maybe he'll sort his feeling and rethink how he must behave with the others girls.

dunno for the pres, I can see her stay in the game after this arc. To disappear, I think she need to suffer a big mental blow with a clear rejection from Gotou. She's fairly obsessed over him.

I also don’t think that she will disappear completely. She will have her part but not so big anymore. I agree that she will try to win him over because he is the only one who rejected her really hard now. Could be that she will leave him be when she understands that she can’t get between him and Agawa if we come to this point.

Gotou doesn't go through with it. He stops when he thinks of Akito again
Yeah... but thats a bad sign too for future chapters. In ch. 63 and in 64 it showed more emotional feelings towards akito. the author could use this to build up for much more devastating ntr. that akito and inukai had sex in that alleyway is still possible too...

On page 12 in ch 64 when inukai entered the classroom he said something like "yesterday i did it too much" this implicates he had sex. but still not sure if it was with akito. on the last page on the side notes stays something like. "did he get ntr'd" and "Gotou awakes" its with mtl so its not accurate.

I feel like Gotou blowing off the pres so much this and last chapter might come back to bite him if he's not careful.

Completely disagree. The president is equally as self centered as Inukai. Gotou clearly doesn't like her that way and purposely ruined his chances with Akito because he blew her off. She's not the main love interest here.
It’s totally fine if you disagree. But just to clarify—at no point did I say Gotou had feelings for the president. What I did say is that she’s been incredibly supportive of him throughout his arc. She’s helped him in ways no other girl in the series has—like boosting his test scores and helping him work through his mental blocks. And based on this latest chapter, it’s clear she’s starting to genuinely care for him in various ways. So, if they ended up together by the end of the series, I wouldn’t find it surprising.

Now, you mentioned that she’s self-centered, and that’s fine—everyone’s entitled to their interpretation. But even if we go with that logic: how often does a self-centered person go out of their way to help someone—for free, with no ulterior motive? She’s not asking for anything in return. No money. No sex. Nothing. She’s just volunteering her time and energy to help Gotou succeed—whether it's academically or emotionally. That kind of consistent support implies at least some level of care. You can’t really deny that.

That said, I’m not claiming the president is the main love interest. We all know she’s not. The main love interest is Akito-chan—a character who, ironically, no one in the story really wants Gotou to be with. Why? Because Agawa-san has made her reputation crystal clear. She’s slept with practically everyone, including teachers. No one logically wants Gotou to end up with her. So, if you're saying the president is somehow a worse match, that’s honestly a strange take to me—but again, you're entitled to your opinion.

And let’s be real: Gotou hasn’t “lost his chance” with Akito-chan. If her feelings truly disappeared just because he didn’t immediately give her attention in one moment, then maybe her feelings weren’t real to begin with. But we know that's not the case. A reconciliation is clearly on the horizon. It’s just a matter of when—not if—they’ll talk things out and possibly become intimate again.

So in the end, all I’m saying is: the idea of Gotou ending up with the president isn’t far-fetched. She actually fits the theme of the series in a more complex way. On the other hand, someone like Agawa-san—who literally has slept around with everyone—makes it much harder to imagine her as a serious endgame candidate. But hey, agree to disagree. That’s all I’m saying.

Based on the recent chapters it's clear she just wants to have sex. She didn't care to comfort him after the whole Akito thing. She used that moment to try and have sex with him. That's a scummy thing to do if you ask me. Yes she helps him but everything she does seems to be for her own gain. She sabotaged his moment with Agawa by wanting a threesome. She sabotaged his moment with Akito by saying they're on a date. She even tried to guilt trip him into not going after Akito, who he clearly cares for, by mentioning herself. She does good, but I wouldn't say she's a good person completely

Unless we were reading two different versions of Chapter 64, the very first page clearly shows that as the President and Gotou are walking down the steps, she notices he’s sad—he’s literally tearing up. And yes, she tries to comfort him by having sex. You say she just wanted to have sex? Well, if that were the case, she could’ve done that at any point during this arc, especially since his mind was clearly on sex. But no—she becomes the one who actually tries to help him move past that. She’s the one who helps him focus on his studies and pass the test—the same test she failed because his mind had been so fixated on sex.

She could’ve used that to her advantage and made the situation worse, but instead, she helped him raise his scores. It’s only when she sees him emotionally vulnerable that she tries to comfort him through sex. And let’s be real—this is an NTR. Of course, sex is going to be part of it.

Also, what does Gotou do when he realizes he’s still hung up on Akito? He backs off. And what does the President do? She respects that. She doesn’t push him. She doesn’t try to seduce him with “Hey, I can help you forget her.” She backs off. She respects his wishes.

And what happens the very next day? He passes all his tests—thanks to her help.

Look, I get it. You and I are clearly seeing two different things here, and that’s why we don’t agree. But I don’t see her as a scumbag. Like I said, if she really just wanted sex, she had plenty of chances. But she didn’t take them. She helped him instead.

Comforting a person when they are down with sex when you know they aren't into that way and are trying to better themselves is a dirty move.

Also she tried to take advantage of a situation she put him in by offering sex in the first place. She didn't try to ease his tension but rather exasperated them. Yes she backed off but to try in the first place is messed up.

That's a subjective opinion, and frankly, your stance feels wildly naive.

Saying "she didn't try to comfort him, she just wanted to have sex" completely ignores the context of her actions throughout the arc. Let’s go back to the beginning: Gotou originally failed all his tests because his mind was clouded by sex. He even ended up in summer school because of it. So who helped him regain focus? The President.

Yes, her backstory paints her as a promiscuous girl—just as much as the main female character in this series. She could have slept with anyone, including Gotou or even the other guy, at any point. But she didn’t. Instead, she made a conscious choice to help Gotou get his mind off sex and focus on his exams so he could potentially graduate on time. That’s a significant and overlooked part of her character development.

Fast-forward to the chapter in question. Gotou messes up things with Akito. On the very first page, he’s visibly upset—tears and all. And what does the President do? She tries to comfort him. Through sex, yes. And while you might see that as a "dirty move," it's also a very human one. Many people use sex as emotional comfort, especially when words feel insufficient.

To argue she only did it for sex is to ignore the entire arc. If all she wanted was sex, she would’ve done it long ago. The timing here matters—this moment wasn’t about lust, it was about emotional support. Whether you agree with how she chose to comfort him is one thing, but dismissing it as mere lust is factually tone-deaf to everything she did leading up to this.

Again, maybe it wasn’t the “right” move, but it was a comforting gesture from someone who clearly saw something in Gotoh. Maybe his it was feelings for Akito-chan, or maybe it was something much deeper, but it wasn’t random, and it wasn’t just about sex.

You’re free to interpret the moment differently, but don’t act like the manga doesn’t show clear emotional motivation behind her actions. It does.

My stance isn't naive. If anyone being naive it is definitely you. You seem to be purposely ignoring some of the bad she's done simply because she's done good. I'm not saying she's a bad person and that she doesn't care about him. I will say she is looking out for her best interests before anyone else's.

You mentioned Gotou messed up things but fail to remember it was her that caused him to mess things up. Also if you think comforting someone that's trying to get passed an addiction by offering them to indulge in said addiction is the right thing to do I don't know what to say. That's like offering a recovering alcoholic a drink when they are down. She's knows if he went through with having sex with her he'd be kicking himself more than than he already was seeing Akito with someone else.

To think otherwise is purposely blinding yourself to the issue.
