Maybe she’s straight but just can’t get past knowing him as a little boy and will forever see him as such. Lots of ways it could not work out, and all could make for interesting stories.

For some reason I feel like Chii was completely redesigned, but I'm sure that's just my memory failing me.

Having a full conversation with a cat as to why you cannot comply with its demands is perfectly normal behaviour.

That would be an interesting development. Like she learns that Tokio has had feelings for her but she just doesn't reciprocate and Tokio is allowed to finally move on to someone better for him. This chapter is definitely planting seeds for what could be a good arc.

Same, I dig the compare/contrast between this ship and the other two. I think it rounds out the manga nicely.

It’s an interesting chapter where they’re showing Chii with a bit of an older sister vibe with the cats and how she helped him up in the end. I feel like theirs is going an a dynamic or paradoxical contrasts.

On a separate note, let the author cook people. Like come on, same author who brought us two of the greatest romances in manga is working on a third. Let them cook.
