She's one of the characters who gets the most character development later down the novel imho, but arguably everyone's too mellow in this novel.

Well, I think our guy has unintentionally snatched another female Demon King for his harem. Because I think I'm smelling some bullshit about Alice's relationship with him being fake, sure it might have been to observe him, but few women seem to be immune to his magnetic pull. Whether it is as a close friend, or being romantic is up in the air. The only Demon Kings that aren't among his harem are the male Demon Kings, and the Tree Spirit Onee-san Demon King.

Kinda knee jerk reaction to what's flat out being said. There's a lot of lies and partial truths being thrown around when it comes to phantasmal king and what she was actually doing and testing this whole time and why. It's also why despite multiple knowing what she was doing the other kings let her be.

Not gonna lie, at this current point in the story, alice is actually the 3rd strongest being in the series (she is still the strongest non creator god/beings with deep connection to a creator god iykyk wat 2 charas falls into this category ya know)

Not to mention, alice has far more at her disposal to protect kaito if something were to happen. Head on fight it'd just be kuro/shiro who can beat alice rn. And if we r talking numbers/strategies, no one holds a candle to alice's network. You can pretty much say if theres a major organization, alice has at least one foot in their with subordinates or have the info on them. No single chara even in current wn has as much reach as alice does in trinia

It's explained way earlier in the manga but it's his special sympathy magic that lets him see (feel) through people, like how he saw through the Phantasmal King's "Kuro" doppelganger, each person exudes a unique magic signature. He also resonates almost unnaturally well with non-hostile magic, no matter how powerful a person might be, which is why he could so easily talk to Shiro as well as the other 6 kings. The manga probably won't last until Shiro's true endgame so I recommend reading the WN, it's definitely worth it since you learn even more about Kaito too.
