I've looked it's been about 10 chapters since the main female lead has actually gotten the central spotlight. I don't hate the other girls they're all interesting characters but the main lead is also really interesting I would just preferred if this wasn't a harem anymore.

Otherwise I feel like all of these girls couldn't leave their own stories they're all super interesting the problem is the main character has already pretty much decided who he likes

I doubt many japanese high shool girls even wear those kinds of underwear.

A lot of mangaka in the industry are actually female (not majority of them, but iirc theres more female than male) and most of them are super into clothes designs, even underwears, a.k.a trends

And usually, even if the mangaka is male, they dont slack off either in that aspect, it's exactly the reason why male or female chara in a lot of manga wear nice looking clothes, because unironically, these mangakas actually follow trends even if they don't apply it to themselves lol
