Loved the test in this chapter. They intentionally gave myne a normal sized chair that she would’ve had to climb up into. If she actually did that or made too big of a deal about it, she would’ve failed. But instead she just blamed the teacher’s “attendant” as it would’ve been their job to research and accommodate for their individual needs and wants.

Also, Wilfred s retainers had absolutely ZERO faith that he could actually pass that class. And for good reason. It’s a freaking hard class that literally nobody passed and for good reason. Archduke candidates are used to being at the top of the pecking order so they struggle when trying to act deferential.

The process is essentially 'keep walking until you feel the divine will call out to you'
Because the path will give you a fragment befitting your current capacity.

While I don't think the author confirm anything, I believe the highbeast would act as a barrier and prevent her from properly sensing the divine will.
So for going in at least she need to walk and sense it.

On the chapter: I wonder if the artist intentionally.

the manga doesn't show it but this conversation addresses 3 different problems with ppl of different knowledge levels. for your point (which is 1 of the different problems) the reason he isn't worried about the long walk is because RM has been moving fine throughout the royal academy (with the help of the muscle enhancement magic tools) still slow yes but that's most due to her small stature not her poor muscles and noone knows how that would interact with the devine will (even if it's obvious what would happen). so the long walk wasn't a consideration. Next is Cornelius's interpretation and a connected problem. 1st years are mainly the first time that kids are apart from their homes. homesickness results in a higher ammount of stress and that results in many 1st years having a nightmare of not being able to find their own devine will and since Cornelius doesn't know RM has the memories of an adult he just sees it as his little sister being scared of that common problem. Lastly is RMs interpretation Rm is in a very unique scenario where she's a commoner and because she's a commoner she doesn't know if she'll get a good enough shtappe and that is what is actually her worry (which obv she can't say so this is the roundabout way of asking and it carrying the wrong interpretations).

problem is noone in the academy except Hishrur knows how bad her health is and she just doesn't really care as long as it doesn't cause her trouble and with the limited info they have noone would know. also no there are plenty of conditions to get that far and there is currently only 2 that should know but it's def not known to the royal family.

You need permission to use your highbeast inside. Rozemyne needed Sylvester's permission to use it in Ehrenfest and in Ehrenfest's dormitory at the Royal Academy, but here, in the middle of the Academy, she would need direct permission from the Royal Family to use her highbeast. She was really unlikely to get that (more like, no chances at all), especially after Fraularm claimed the highbeast was dangerous and attacked her...
Primevere was able to give the ok, but that was only because of the highly unusual circumstances, and her pretty high status (she is the dorm supervisor of the duchy ranked 1, so likely the 2nd in status among all the professors). And even then, it is almost certain that she had to report it to the royals right after.
