The self-aggrandizing parts of Kirihara's speech apply way more to Touka than himself; while the scornful bits describe him and many of his peers. With this gem aptly describing the majority of Touka's classmates who stood by when Vicius dumped him the ruins: "The foolishness of the common people who have ceased to think is apparently irredeemable in any era."

It's like he read the plot synopsis and mistook himself as the main character.

Damn, Kirihara has such a massive need of aknowledgement, it would be hilarious if it wasn't so pathetic. He has a huge Main Character complex and can't imagine a world where he is not #1.
He is persuaded that he is the best as he has had the most impact in the last battlefield (it is confirmed in the novel that he had more impact than Hijiri, but she has more pages in the manga because she is hotter).
He talks about himself as a king and wants people to praise him and lick his boots, even the goddess.

But here comes Ayaka who was at the bottom of the S-rank heroes before the battle but has actually killed one of the generals of the demon army and has now a higher level than him, so his ego is wounded. Her first wish for the goddess is to have her classmates healed, Kirihara would probably have asked the throne of a kingdom after the war and a marriage with a hot princess.

Ayaka doesn't have the MC syndrome, but she has the messiah syndrome. She still wishes for all the classmates remaining to stay alive and come back to their world eventually. So all the people whishing for Ayaka to fihgt Kirihara can stop dreaming, it won't happen. But if Touka ends up fighting one of the classmates, it makes no doubt that she will fight against him.

Welp. He yapped a lot in a single frame.
How much till he suffers a most terrible (disappointing) death? It sure would (not) be so sad when that happens. I'll pray for you, random stranger that talks a lot.
Thanks for the meal!!

Yeah, I can definitely see Touka having to off a few classmates who are too busy powertripping like middle managers or simping for the goddess.

My prediction is that Touka actually easily kills the Goddess. Like there is no struggle or fight, he just one sidedly destroys her. Then upon seeing that, Kirihara goes nuts and has an egotistical meltdown and becomes the actual final boss due to some bullshit.

What I can say is that what will happen with Kirihara will surprise you.
Nobody saw it coming.

Mangaka is really going to make us hate Kirihara a LOT just so when he gets his reckoning it’ll feel so much better. But shit is he cringe as fuck rn. He just tried to kill Sogou because of her level??? What the shit??
