no cover page?
that's unusual
Norio said she was too busy
The cover page for chapter 170 reused the cover art of the 12th volume. It was indeed due to lack of time:

[Update] The latest chapter of the teenage love comedy "The Dangers in My Heart" has been updated. A new morning has come (I didn't have time so this is the cover art 🙇‍♀️ )

the upcoming Kana spinoff
What? There's onee-chan spinoff coming?
Yeah hitting July 22nd
It's probably why there was more Kana focus last volume
Kana spinoff, Norio has a line to my heart
Editor better not try & cockblock Jin like he's done in the past :qq:
Supervised but not written or drawn by Norio. Basically she'll serve as as a second editor.

First tweet about the spin-off from the artist quoting the announcement of the spin-off from BokuYaba's official account:
translation:
【notice】 I will be in charge of the spin-off of "The Dangers in My Heart". Big sister is the main character! The series will begin serialization in Champion Cross from midnight on July 22nd. Although I am still a novice, I have been entrusted with Sakurai Norio-sensei's important characters and will draw them with all my heart, so I would appreciate your continued support...!

Her dad is basically him.
Him and her dad share the same braincell lol
Like father like son ehhhh.... Are you sure both are not blood related ?? Only sharing same brain cell towards their lover ???
Turns out, he's more like her dad than his own biological dad
Like Father-in-Law, like Son-in-Law.
What's interesting is that it was Anna who suggested the arrangement "I'll tell what I want to do, you tell me if it's no good" (page 6). The manga in general doesn't provide a lot of insight into how Anna thinks. However, the last page suggests that Anna learned this from her parents.

P.S. I'm surprised that no one has pointed it out yet. Maybe it's just so obvious that it doesn't warrant pointing out?
P.P.S. The similarity between Yamada Yukina and Ichikawa has been alluded for the first time all the way back in chapter 64 (see also forum posts about it).

Loved the father-in-law to son-in-law communication.
Since everyone is comparing the dad to Ichikawa: I wonder it this mangá will end with future Ichikawa super ripped, it would be funny.

That's no good. I mean, the party, the chapter was OK.
I don't agree that being adults means to prioritize study and work. Of course, they are important things, and I'm not saying one should only have fun, but too many times we see characters in manga that think like those are the only things that matter in their lives and neglect everything else. In Italy we have a say, "prima il dovere, poi il piacere" (first duty, then pleasure), meaning you have to be responsible, but then you are allowed to hsve fun.
This saying also exists in the German-speaking part of Europe, "Zuerst die Arbeit, dann das Vergnügen.". The meaning is exactly the same.

And yes, often children and teenagers think "boah, school, so bad!" and want to be adults, because "they can do whatever they want". Well, yes, but actually no. With more freedom comes more obligations...

I think this is going to be the central conflict moving forward. We’ve done away with the pair’s doubts about their relationship and they have both families on their side, so it will be how they navigate what they perceive their adult responsibilities to be, and how to balance that with what they want their actual lives to be. It will probably come down to Anna becoming disillusioned with the state of the Japanese entertainment industry and whether she wants to try something different or go for a medium path with less probable success, but more freedom. Because there is no end game without Kyoutarou, that much is for certain.

As for the next chapter, I think it will be a quiet night for the boys until something happens at the party and it’s up to Kyo’s bizarrely high Charisma score, and Papa’s equally bizarre Strength score to come in and save the day. Not that I overly enjoy damsel in distress tropes, but this pairing is just too funny not to utilise!

Surprised no one else has caught this, but Anna's legendarily terrible cooking skills seem to have finally leveled up in the last year.
Well it's not that she's terrible to begin with. (see the sport event where she make lunch for Kyotaro) but moreso she's often just do the absolute smallest things and claim she can cook.

She got thrown out of her second-year cooking-class group for being utterly incompetent. Yes, the Puruche Effect is real, but not the biggest issue.
