I'm going to be honest, I'm a a bit sick of the "evil, greedy reincarnated heroine" trope. It just became the boring default in stories like this one. I really hope that's not the case here.

Bad church, wicked hero & evil god/light is the unholy trinity of tired tropes, though. Sure, more of shounen/battle oriented series thing usually, but it isn't unheard of in OI either.
But yeah, after evil heroine and a wicked church, the most common follow up would be the heroine and the church using brainwashing to enforce the plot, indeed.

Oh, that's actually a really good ending, i hope they don't change anything, and if they do they just improve upon it. To me it's really different from what we usually see in these stories.

There is a spin-off manga that centers around the heroine called "逆行した悪役令嬢は、なぜか魔力を失ったので深窓の令嬢になります　～聖女アンナの物語～" I wonder if anyone is interested in picking it up. From what I heard, the heroine is still an antagonist but in a way in not what you think.
