In matters related to the actual chapter, the colored star field attack was dope. First the B/W and color on the same page was jarring, but this the card in the foreground and colored stars in the background that was cool.

Kinda curious where the story goes from here. Undoubtedly MC is famous now, and while his original goal wasnt clout, all he can really do from here is either continue the snowball of gaining power, or fizzle out and plateau. Which the later obviously wont happen as he is the MC. Maybe we will get a short rest type arc for MC to regroup with the dolls and try and learn not only more about the link skill, but the discovery of evolving cards without sacrificing other cards. And just get some more world building in general.

I hope the pace slows down and we get this rest/world building arc. While I wont say the current arc was bad, the sudden rush of just gain powers was a bit jarring. And im afraid whatever prize he wins from this tournament will mimic the sudden and jarring power increase like we experienced here.

yeah, the Sea of Stars being colored caught me completely off guard, it's so uncommon to see standard B&W manga break out some actual colors outside of covers and special illustrations, but it looked amazing here

Basically, MC goes to 2nd year, while Anna joins in as a 1st Year fresher.
