i have a very vague memory of a high school shoujo romance story where the female mc has a crush on a generic broodish black haired ml and a love letter was involved.

the letter was torn up and the 2nd love interest (lighter hair) had the most genius confession scene where he put together parts of the letter together to spell “i like you” from the ripped up parts.

been trying to find it forever, any help is appreciated!!!!! it’s been living in my brain rent free for years now and i think about it every other day hoping ill someday be reunited with and it and magically rmb what the title was…#pining

Sorry i don't think i'd know of much else other than trying to search by year since i imagine the style/simplicity from the early 2000s might be hard to track down (unless it got an english localization or so) versus something within the last 5 years
