I like the line about not knowing true malice. The rest of the story though...was there actually one? Feels more like the author had an idea but didn't bother to flesh it out. Can't even ship the MCs with so little to go on

On the plus side, the art is serviceable and the little girl precious

It's not a mirror as much as an aggregator and also where many scanlators fled to following the purge of 2025 and the new Terms of Service. comick is somewhat unscrupulous, similar to bato in that they will host official translations (more or less flouting copyright law instead of skirting it). So what is more accurate is that your work is being scraped / stolen to be hosted there.

Anyway, I liked this story. At least she acted like a villainess to some degree which was refreshing, even if her facade fell apart at the slightest scrutiny and she wasn't able to actually accomplish much apart from separating fools and their money.

Despite the flimsy plot the characterization/dynamics were definitely on the upper end for this series.
The rapport and power balance is -mostly- even (although time and time again I see the MLs having the edge in intelligence - I say nothing). I agree with @Jayswing103 , this would make for a good serialization.

Cost just a hundred times more than what she charged, Sir? That's dirt cheap even in my modern world standards. We're talking about pennies from a little poor peasant girl afterall. A hundred times of that is still nothing.

Also, I have no idea how her parents exhausted themselves to death by having fewer customers.

The villainess act + being a good-natured dork is a classic duo.

A hundred copper pieces is still only 3 gold pieces, so I don't know how much of break was given to the little girl vs overcharged to the nobles.

Villainess tag should really be "Villainess" tag.
90% of manga with it are fake villainesses
It's become an oxymoron.

I'm not criticizing the usage as backwards as it's seems to have become as it's still relevant to the plot on how the character in question was or is perceived in the story this is a relevant plot tag that, usually, inform a reader of what the content will contain.

I'm with the crowd on this one - this is reaaaally pushing the term of 'villainous' when you've effectively got a Robin Hood style merchant, and the people who call Robin Hood villainous... Well...

It's also a pretty standard 'hero comes swooping in to save potential romantic interest' story as things go, except without enough time to really develop that theoretical relationship. It also has a lot of informed harshness/plotting from actual villains that's thrown out there, rather than really developed. As a result, it's not a particularly compelling story.

Still, at least it has a few cute moments.
