That’s literally the whole point of this manga. She doesn’t want to be in an otome game and she’s living her own life now outside the game’s/story’s plot.

Okay so i get that all the other people Alicia kill was pretty justified, they were either criminals, assassins, people trying to kill her first etc. but what did the Dawn Merceneries do? They just seem like normal adventurers. I get it makes sense character wise since she is indeed an assassin, but I can't help but end up losing empathy for our protag and its harder to root for her if they were indeed just innocent people she killed which is different the rest of the enemies

I just realized that, after killing Glinda, every move Aria made from that moment was to distract Dawn Mercenary from noticing that their healer was dead and not just injured.
She immediately attacked Duncan to keep his attention, and then tossed her weapon at Duncan to make him and Daggart focus on the dagger. By the time anyone noticed they had nobody to heal them, a valuable potion has been wasted and Randy has gone Leroy Jenkins to his doom.

From what I remember of the novel, it favours depth over width. At least when it comes to rank; I'm not sure exactly how they trickles down to combat power.

Also from the novel, it's subjective to the viewer, and relies entirely on their ability to perceive and understand things. So Aria might simply not know enough about how a pure fighter works to get an accurate read of his power.

Belated, but no. She's like 11 in current LN chapters. She gets magical precocious puberty just like Elena, because of course she does.

The magical precocious puberty is explained in the LN as humans get magic crystals in their hearts just like monsters, so just like monsters have to grow faster if the crystal grows fast, otherwise they die. This is why people who learn more than three elemental affinities end up sacrificing their health, because the magic crystal in their heart gets too big and the human body can't get any bigger to compensate after the first magic growth spurt, so they basically get Magic Heart Disease and die young.

Honestly I really liked that idea, myself.

yeah just because she wants out of it doesn't mean the "game" is going to let her. I just kinda hate when a story says its going one way and the "but actually"s itself in another direction. like why try to attract people with the otome trope if you are not going to follow through?

The Otome part happens in the school, after she is found out so she became the heroin and is used by the nobles.
You know, the part she fled from in the beginning. The name is Otome heroin fight for survival, id does look like she is fighting for survival
