You know, that concept idea of Time Travel making a character less and less human as time goes on us starting to make more sense

The fact that Sophina decided that 'I can't kill this scumbag so I'll erase his existence and make him into a puppet for the sole purpose of making sure my sister stays alive' is terrifying. She has no qualms of destroying everything if it makes her sister happy, she is no longer human by that logic, but a monster- a concept of evil.

It's interesting because a lot of regression stories don't really change the character's mindset aside from becoming the ultimate good or becoming the ultimate evil after being punished/wronged (or in the rare case they go mad but just enough that it still fits with the plot). You don't really get to see the 'trauma' behind being killed over and over again unless it's built up as a drama but here you can. And I think it's both horrifying and enticing at the same time.

TLDR; Shits good 👍🏾

Wait I forgot, why do the creators is so hell bent on killing her before the game scenario even begins? Like if she died way too early, then who's playing the villainous role in the game then? Seems like a weird and confusing plothole :wtf:
I don't think we have enough information to tell at this point.

Like the concrete info we have is that Layla's presence apparently caused a lot of bugs in the game but I feel like we'd need to learn a bit more about what the game was originally supposed to be like to figure out why.

My guesses are:

A. She was supposed to be a one-dimensional villainess character, such that her being nice completely disrupts the events of the game.

B. The writer's original vision was for her to be a much more well-rounded character, but then the other people involved in the game changed her to be a one-dimensional villainess, and the conflict between the original vision and how she ended up is breaking the game.

Either way we didn't see the writer, who the other workers seemed kinda dismissive of, and the people we did see thought that Layla was totally expendable.

Oh, she's broken, alright. I'd even go so far as to say that she's right up there with Remilia from The One Within the Villainess. Her entire moral compass revolves around her sister. Everything else takes a backseat. And that's why we love her: we were in the front seat with her, seeing exactly what made her that way.
Can you imagine this story with the artist from "The One Within the Villainess"? How much more impact it will be to read?

That would be amazing. The art here is already nice, but definitely on the more cutesy side. Until it isn't. There's something to be said for the mood whiplash it invokes, but something with more gravitas would be nice too.
