This guy really knows how to make someone's blood boil. I hope arata beat ts out of him in a spectacular way
Arata won't, unless his whole character changes.

He saw the bruises on her and tried to question her a few chapters ago and she just said "nah don't worry about it" and he spent several panels thinking "what if I'm wrong? what if those physical marks of violence on my sister aren't what I think they are?" and then just let it all slide doing nothing at all.

Arata needs to get his head out of his ass and actually be willing to throw hands, which he hasn't done up to now that I can remember. Because he's not winning a fight of words/reasoning with this guy, based on this chapter at least.
Until he actually steps up, Banri's on her own.

(Unless the other sisters intervene somehow, which they still think this is all fairytale nonsense so I don't expect that happening.)

I swear to god if MC doesn't serve this douche canoe his rear on a silver platter then I am dropping this series. This SOB crossed the line into on-site territory by putting his hands on best girl. Kicking a kid just means that he should suffer more before he passed out.

That's quite a lazy writing

Portraying clearly as someone to be hated

No spin on it

Just straightforward a trash person
You could also spin it to say that it's quite refreshing to see someone so blatantly awful that they would actually kick a child.
Sure, there's all of the manipulative emotional and verbal abuse toward Banri... and then he straight up kicks a child.
It's like when John Wick broke the rule you're never supposed to break (his puppy) to add effect to what scum he is.

"I could overlook the hitting, the grabbing, the going through my phone, the constant verbal abuse and belittling and dismissal of my worth as a person"

"but when he kicked that kid that one time,"

More seriously, I wanna know how the fuck she got wrapped up with that prick in the first place. Was he like that from step 1? Did he "turn" into that once she was in too deep? How did he even hide that reprehensible character long enough to pull her in?

Like............huh?

1. It's okay to check your partner's phone; why treat it as a bad thing? Many relationships could be saved if partners were to embrace this.

2. His claim that women follow their desires is inaccurate. Men and women both do, except for devout religious individuals; everyone pursues their own desires.

3. Doing that to a kid — the writer is trying very hard to portray this guy as a villain.
