It's starting to get a LITTLE bit grating, how every character keeps going: "HUH DON'T YOU CARE THEY DO XYZ WITH YOUR NAME?"
While the MC is quite literally, and figuratively, a spirit that doesn't care for worldly possessions or honor. The MC just wants to do his thing, and he keeps doing just that.

That being said, it is pretty fitting how the whimsical, quirky artist, requires a bunch of managers and connections to keep his work afloat in society, otherwise he wouldn't care enough to manage any of it, and would just rather keep being his quirky self.
