The only issue is we haven't had her and Rin interact more. The few interactions during the dodgeball prep were nice, but not enough for them to develop a significant bons beyond appreciating each other as hard workers and decent people.

As soon as they develop some friendship, with how both of them have had the experience of Toudou just rizzing everyone up, I can bet you they'd work together to keep everyone's paws off of her, while sharing her between the two of them.
