Love this chapter. So much happening and the couple is taking charge. Of course Rae has to make sure there's no competition for Claire. She's had enough of that.

Really hoping we reach the epilogue of volume 2 (which would be a fantastic ending), but if we start doing stuff past that I'll be happily surprised and hunkered down for years more of the manga.

I thought I heard that the series was coming to a close so I don’t expect them to go past volume 2’s epilogue

And I’m fine with that, I love the series, but the first two volumes were definitely the best and the most thought out and put together. Everything that comes after that, feels like the author kind of had to make it up after they finished the first 2 volumes

I like what comes after and those novels did well but I know adapting the last 3 volumes would be double the years, so I imagine that's why they wouldn't want to commit to that. Ending at volume 2 is perfect anyway since the series is broken into 3 major story sections and this would conclusively end the first section. Inori hasn't said anything about it ending though, so we don't know what they have planned yet. My understanding is that it's doing well enough to continue as long as they want.

The plot is thickening rapidly (or maybe it's matching the LN's pacing again, even after all these years I'm still on Vol 1 orz). Despite all that's happened, Rae's still harboring insecurities and solitude, while Claire's, as she puts it, is taken around without any leg ups. If something doesn't happen soon, that bad end's gonna come no matter what...

This chapter actually makes me a bit hopeful of us getting arc 2 as well. Because

it takes the time to establish Matt and Claire's relationship and Matt is the one to reach out at the start of arc 2 to ask for Claire's help.

As always, if we continue to support the series there's a chance for it to continue.
