I mean, considering so much of this manga is a direct homage to Ace Attorney, yeah, of course Lemon will end up on the defendants stand and of course they will do their best to defend her, that's the genre convention and the genre demand.
(I hope she also gets milking as punishment tbh)

True. But I'm wondering if the weapon really had an effect, or if they will make it seem like it had an effect. And even if the weapon caused her behavior, it feels like they would throw that excuse out with logic such as she shouldn't have allowed such a weapon to hit her.

The trending words are 「ノーパン」"nopan" (no underwear), 「露出」"roshutsu" (exhibitionist), and 「スパイダーマン子ちゃん」"supaidaman-ko-chan" (spiderman-girl-chan). The last one is a pun because ko is a common ending for girl names in Japan; for example female Ranma is called Ranko. But but having "ko" follow "man" creates "manko," which is slang for female genitals. So "bush" isn't really what it's going for. They're calling her spider-vag-chan. I think the translator was trying to make a different pun that would work in English. Bush spiders are a thing.
