you just add rice to a steel or ceramic bowl, use your fingers to measure the rice's height, fill the bowl with water to the same height as the rice but you also have to add more water in proportion(depends on the type of rice) to the height of what you measured

then cooking over campfire (make sure the fire is well secured and will only lit objects you want it to), add a lid and you just have to wait but make sure to look inside every 2-3 mins after 4-5 mins have passed specially since it's harder to control campfire fire, if you're not careful you'll have burnt rice
