The mc is your typical flustered Tepid loser while atleast the douche has the balls to not be a coward and fuck anyone he likes while the Mc hasn’t learn anything since his childhood friend gets stolen and continues to act like a loser and doesn’t have his first kiss until so long into the novel while most of the characters in the novel have already had sex with the douche. Sure the douche got arrested but that’s because author tried to make it wholesome while the MC still acts like a wimp around the FMC who’s not even that much better then the childhood friend because there both trying to get with MC but he’s too weak willed and stuttery to accept her. If you like your typical brain dead MC then go ahead and read it but it’s just carbon copy and i have no clue why add sex if you only make the side characters do it and never the Mc

Yeah it’s generic nice guy “Hero complex” MC, Honestly no wonder that who*e of an ex got stolen away he hadn’t even Kissed her yet, author also made MC try to kill himself just over a girl like cmon... Make it a bit realistic also the NTR guy who stole her away is miles better then MC in Looks, personality, Hight but because It’s the “MC” The most popular girl in school falls for him, it’s the same tr*sh over and over again and all these MCs look the same with there Greasy Brown hair and skin and bones build LIKE WHY CANT WE GET ANYTHING NEW?! I think it's more you've missed the point of the story.

IIts a revenge fantasy, but not from the perspective of the MC - from the perspective of the reader, specifically, who sees this kid get his life ruined over the span of a month, and then very real consequences befall the ones who pushed him to near suicide.

The MC doesn't really factor into this at all other than to be the hapless victim that sets the whole thing rolling. If anything, he isn't meant to be identified with, or even a self-insert whatsoever. It's a true "third person perspective" story where the MC is less a character with agency and more a prop to set the stage so that the story, which is "assholes and bitches get annihilated for being assholes and bitches" can be told.

You focusing on his demeanor or the fact everyone but him is having sex (technically not even true, just the antagonist & childhood friend), and those aren't important to the story beyond being exposition that put the MC in place for the bullying to begin, which in turn is the setup for the actual story which is the downfall of the antagonist and CF. After that, the MC gets a cute love story that goes how you'd expect, but it's not even meant to be the focus beyond showing that he's happy and living life whole those that nearly pushed him to end it all get destroyed by their own actions.

Trying to frame this story any other way will just lead to disappointment.

I see where your coming from ngl but there is another girl who got stolen from the douche a while back and she’s one of the recurring girl characters in the novel, I just think it’s a bit sad the mc was brought to the brink of sucidie of a girl he was not even dating or confessed to, sure there was the bullying but that just shows how weak willed Mc is and I see where the author was trying to do but it’s Japan and everything has a trope so they must go along with it and not do anything different. I was just really pissed they always add intercourse at the start to the females but the mc never does it to get revenge nor even with his current love interest witch is the FMC in this, the intercoruse was done willingly aswell by the childhood friend and the douche wasn’t even that bad. It’s fiction aswell but I just hate the Tepid wimp MC trope it’s getting real annoying and I’m starting to slowly favour douches/Antagonist’s over them if they don’t start growing a pair. I just wish the mc in this learned u have to be more confident or else they will get stolen away and in the novel it never happens he stays tepid/ weak for a long long time but what can I do? I'm just saying you keep focusing on the MC being "tepid and weak", and that's fine, but you're focusing on the wrong things.

The MC isn't even the "MC", he's simply the catalyst character for the real story to kick off, namely his bullies getting their lives ruined.

Yes, there's a romance element between Eiji and Ai, but that's almost just a side story so you know he has a happy life after almost taking it due to what he'd been put through. But he and Ai are not the true focus point of the plot.

It's all about the revenge/"justice" wrought upon Miuyki and Kondo and all the others who were wrapped up in the bullying campaign. Their downfall is the story. Fullstop.

Keep focusing on your dislike for Eiji and you'll keep missing the actual intent of the author--the consequences that befall the bad guys.

And the sex is important to set that all up, because without it Miyuki doesn't become the antagonist she needs to be. Eiji not having sex is irrelevant, because he is irrelevant once the bullying ends, because his romance with Ai isn't the point.
