Oh? Is this turning into a murder mystery now?

Is it gonna be some twisted reveal that the "trash" part of the title was that his wife's body was literally put in a bag in the trash? :notlikethis:

oh wow, he really came back

Although while 'bar flirting' might be more common, feels like hitting someone in a 'moment of weakness'/thinking "oh they must've had a fight with their partner maybe i can seduce them into cheating" seems scummy lol

you'd think the bartender would also warn him off too lol, bc while he did deserve it he probably could've pressed charges depending

comedy tag feels unfitting now tho i wouldn't mind this author doing a yuri

Then her knowing about the meeting and messaging trash girl right after it ended gives off stalker vibes
"now you're getting it"

Incredibly scummy, but also, incredibly, more common than I think I'd even want to believe. Having it be a random "gag encounter" is simultaneously realistic and disheartening because it doesn't even need to be significant for the plot, it's just fully likely to happen when a woman goes to a bar alone.

I don't know if this goes the Yuri route; that would assume either of them are into one another enough to eschew the other main romance option in the ML - and one's all about compensated dating and the other's one step shy of being a full-on stalker. Could just see them hitting it off as friends, maybe, but then again who knows where this is going.

As long as the mom's not involved though, I wouldn't mind the switch in romance tag trajectory.

Yeah the stereotypical rom 'com' part of "gets harassed by ppl flirting" for the mc to show up and 'save' them or so lol. Tho i wonder how many single ppl would be willing to be into it with the 'nanpa' thing or so, handsome host club workers aside or so , but at least he didn't slip anything into her drink or so

Tho glad that other girl was able to literally strong arm him

I had evil thoughts

So to put it bluntly she hoped the wife would die, or maybe even went as far as contemplating on how to make sure she died, I doubt she actually killed her, I don't think this will turn into a murder mystery but if it did my money would be on the woman that was literally about to strangle the MC in the last chapter.

The way this is going the MC is going to be the one to "guide his current lifestyle in the right direction". Note that this doesn't mean they'll end up together. Who needs therapy when you can rent a girlfriend that looks and behaves exactly like your deceased wife.

Nothing like that happens, at best it's her growing in abusive house

Did we find out what happened?

considering his age i assume either an illness or an accident b/c any kinda 'murder ' would lead to an arrest given the conviction rate versus the 'useless police' trope

I saw many people getting messed up like Liam Neeson in Taken after their entire family died.

In fact human traffickers have that common background.
