Been a while, so I don't remember exactly, but I think that was only what her mission was specifically about. Their full history, which might only have been detailed in the novel, includes quite a few more crimes.

The catgirl is "inside the shadow", whatever the fuck that means, visually represented as her sitting in some pocket dimension, so how exactly can you place a portal on the wall that perfectly aims at her throat?

The portal is on the wall, but shes "inside" the wall, so how can it aim at her, even if shes dumb enough to put her face up to it??
Its visible as a black dot, but as a portal it has got to have an orientation, the knife could have come out in any angle.

This is the first and last time this level up manipulation is used in this story. Neat, reminds me of Skyrim. But knowing the system, it's actually a bit questionable how she can control it that much. Especially since this is the only time this is used and relevant so we can't really pinpoint how anyone can do that.

Also I'm actually a bit partial for the catgirl and her brother. Shamefully the plot requires them dead but in other stories, they could be quite a charming side characters.

I get the catgirl was mad at the MC for killing her childhood friend, but shouldn't the catgirl hold at least some anger towards the brat that sent her friend to his death for petty reasons?

I could imagine that's what she'd immediately do if she succeeds offing Cinderella

Funny thing about that. That's the one part of her that's inherently OP. She has that Main Character Charm. So even if her social skills are questionable, she's able to use her charm to aid her in many situations.

And she's not a Mary Sue at all. She puts in a ton of effort into her skills.

I'm now actually searching for that trope of Main Character Charm in other stories since I like it. The way an OG MC is still special even when the plot is taken from them. The other one I notice is I guess MobuSeka and Bakarina.
