So she was fucked up from day one eh? A little redirection really helps a person out but man what a cost. This is still a story with no heroes however you put it so this can still get really good .

I remember when the other version first got uploaded. A lot of people (not necessarily on this site) predicted - nay, I'd say more like they hoped - she is this way because of childhood abuse, trauma or whatever to excuse her murdering kids, perhaps because they imagine themselves as some sort of anti-bullying Avengers and wanted to live vicariously through her lmao.

Meanwhile I thought it would actually be way neater if she was always ax crazy and can potentially be even more evil than her victims, because normal revenge plots are honestly boring. This chapter basically confirms that at best she will go down the Aku no Kyouten route, and that is something I'd very much like to see.

To me it also feels like there are some interesting themes/messages here that aren't really present in the revenge stories.

Mainly a lot of revenge stories attempt to "give bullies a taste of their own medicine" with complex ironic punishments but it's sorta hollow compared to the karmic simplicity of bullies getting horribly tortured because they're convenient targets for someone with issues completely unrelated to them.
