I remember when the other version first got uploaded. A lot of people (not necessarily on this site) predicted - nay, I'd say more like they hoped - she is this way because of childhood abuse, trauma or whatever to excuse her murdering kids, perhaps because they imagine themselves as some sort of anti-bullying Avengers and wanted to live vicariously through her lmao.

Meanwhile I thought it would actually be way neater if she was always ax crazy and can potentially be even more evil than her victims, because normal revenge plots are honestly boring. This chapter basically confirms that at best she will go down the Aku no Kyouten route, and that is something I'd very much like to see.
