Rick shoved the troublesome job of training Aisha to Serena.
And surprisingly, Serena seems to have talent as instructor. Aisha is impressed because although Serena acts annoyed, and always put emphasis on “you fail, you die”, as instructor Serena is the type who will keep an eye until her student learn, she doesn’t abandon the slow learner.
Shia also helps training Aisha for infiltration job, and Aisha also stand in for Serena at home. And I think it’s confirmed that Aisha (and Ishmail) are no stranger to sleeping with people for benefit. For them it’s just strategic move to survive the palace with what assets they have.
There’s also side story where she visited the abbey where Rosemary was sent to. She taught Rosemary to iron her own clothes, and suggest her to make friends with other people in the abbey rather than just crying alone (she suggest Rosemary to use her cuteness as weapon and ask them to teach her because the instructor only teach once and she had to figure out everything by herself). Even motivate her that if she can be the top student there, she could have chance to meet her family. Rosemary also seems to have soften up and see Amaryllis as a mother in less selfish way.
Meanwhile, Serena also seems to soften up to her mother. She still think her mother is naive, but is more accepting about her positivity in the epilogue where Amaryllis came down on her own to the refuge centre Serena made (with Rick’s help, originally to corner the antagonist in this arc, but she had to deal with the long term consequences).
